Even if you have a bios file ,how you re-flash ,have you thought this? Intel's bios is a special format bios ,not a normal AMI ,Award or Phoenix bios. And if your xeon processor is not a e0 step ,you didn't have to update microcode.

Look, I tried atleast three diferent kits of 4gb sticks, no boot, only beeps. Also, up in the picture, it clearly shows 8gb of ram. Also, someone's selling BIOS file with capability to boot with 8gb. https://bit.ly/3ksdzbO
You could try two 2rx8 ddr3 4g memory ,it should is TEAMGROUP memory. I'm sure this board can boot up with 4gx2 ,because i once owned it ,but i've sold it.
I didn't do any modification ,besides microcode updated.
I updated BIOS to 018v, with E5450 updated microcode. Now, it runs 8gigs of ram (only double sided), but VERY slowly, boots into Windows in like 10mins, and then no response. Tried five different kits of RAM, tinkered with timings, but still no normal usage. When I try E5450 with 6gigs, it runs fine, no problems. Also, when I try E7500 CPU with 8gigs it also runs without problems.
Yes ,you have to install 2rx8(double sided) then it just can boot up normally. It's been long time (2012 or 2013) ,but i remember i didn't meet any slowly states. Then i sold this platform then replace a i5-2400 lga1155 platform ,it can fight and kill all lga775 or lga771 processors.
Maybe, someone still has BIOS file?!
